The four-story, fifty-eight unit building located on 6350 Red Cedar Place suffered the loss of one of their buildings and varying damage throughout the complex. Baltimore City Fire Department quickly subdued the blaze. Fortunately, there were no injuries and the building was safely evacuated.
WPM Principals, Mike Klein and Barry Yatovitz arrived on the scene within a short time of the alarm. Maintenance Supervisor, Steve Knecht along with 12 Technicians brought their skills to aid the condominium owners.
Our Teams' first priority was to provide safety and shelter to displaced owners. The clubhouse was opened and offered as sanctuary. Heather Ridge Residents, in buildings and townhomes that were not affected opened their doors to their neighbors as well.
The second priority for our team was to assess the damage, restore and repair. The WPM Service Support Team worked night and day-removing debris, securing units and building a temporary roof. They worked relentlessly to clean up smoke and water contamination in hallways and units.
Our staff's tireless effort to support and serve our clients in their time of need is a true testament of our promise to treat the homes of our residents as our own.
WPM Service Support Team Response to a 3-Alarm Fire
Heather Ridge Condominium has been a part of our family of managed communities since 1997. On December 2, 2011, it was the scene of a devastating three-alarm fire.The four-story, fifty-eight unit building located on 6350 Red Cedar Place suffered the loss of one of their buildings and varying damage throughout the complex.
